Selena Gomez - an international actor and singer - has become a household name. Her involvement has included various projects. However, the Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place has been the most successful. The full title of her name is Selena Marie Gomez. Selena Gomez, born the city of Grand Prairie, Texas on July 22, 1992. Amanda Cornett, and Ricardo Gomez are her parents. Selena's mother was just 16 at the time Selena first came to the scene. Selena got her first showbiz job at age 9 as she was Gianna as Gianna in Barney and her Friends. The result was that she appeared in one of history's most anthropomorphic and reptiles in the form of a purple dinosaur. Selena was involved in several episodes of seasons 7 and 8, between 2001 and2003. Selena was not the only actor to appear on Barney and His Friends during this period. Demi Loveto also worked in the series. Selena Gomez left the show and auditioned for different films and shows however, she did not achieve any results. The role she was offered was a minor one in the 2003 movie Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over) as well as another role similar to Julie on Walker Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire. Also, in 2006 she appeared as Emily Grace Garcia on the Brain Zapped television program. In this role, she composed a tune.
